After making its debut in 2019, the BRSCC SW Motorsports ClubSport Trophy has gone on to become one of the club’s most popular series. Designed to introduce club racers to “mini endurance” racing, the series offers the opportunity for road-based cars, separated into five classes according to their power-to-weight, to compete in one- or two-driver formats with a mandatory pit stop.
In 2025, the BRSCC ClubSport Trophy regularly attracted grids in excess of 30 cars and the series has become popular with drivers looking to develop their race craft in multi-class racing with the added benefit of experiencing pit stops and driver changes.
West Suffolk College ME proved its mettle in 2025, with Student Motorsport Competition standouts Haydn Payne and Brady Pollock piloting the team’s #2 Citroen DS3 Cup car to a fighting 20th overall finish and a brilliant 2nd in Class E at Snetterton. For WSC ME students, these races aren’t just rounds – they are professional internships at the racetrack. Managing a mandatory pit stop and live driver changes offers the kind of under-pressure trackside experience that adds significant value to our learners CVs as they embark on their professional motorsport careers.
In 2026, WSC ME returns to the BRSCC SW Motorsports ClubSport Trophy for selected rounds to run alongside our programmes in the Classic VW Cup and the Silverlake C1 Endurance Series.
